Museum Hosts Open House on October 4 and 5

(9/25/14 – Prince William, Virginia) The Americans in Wartime Museum will host its annual open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 4 and 5, 2014, at “The Tank Farm,” 13906 Aden Road, Nokesville, VA.  The family-friendly event, which is open to the public, is a preview of the future Museum, which is being built in Prince William County, Virginia.

This year’s event features new demonstrations and a flyover by a WWII P-51 Mustang fighter. Visitors will also have a chance to see the Museum’s new Oral History Mobile Studio, “The Voices of Freedom.” Suggested donation for attending is $10/adult with children attending free. The Americans in Wartime Museum is a not-for-profit cultural and educational institution dedicated to telling the remarkable stories of American men and women who served our nation during wartime—in all branches of the military and on the home front, from World War I to the present.
