What they’re saying…

The Museum’s 2010 was a huge success!  There were over 5,000 attendees, tank demonstrations, Black Hawk helicopters from Fort Belvoir, helicopter rides provided by American Helicopter and much, much more.

Here are a just some of the kind words we’ve received.

“I can’t thank you enough for the invitation to the event. We had an awesome time!!!”

“Thank you for inviting us we had a wonderful time. I would love to be a fly on the wall when my son’s teacher asks him what he did this summer. I don’t think she has ever had a student say that they rode in a tank that their father was driving and flew in a helicopter.  I look forward to the future of the Museum.”

“The open house proved a terrific window to the future for the Wartime Museum.  Congratulations!”

“My husband and I enjoyed the open house on Sunday.  Wow is the only word that is appropriate.  The event was well organized and I thought the narrator was terrifically interesting as well as informative.  Tank demos, re-enactors, food – a great event.”

“I had a ball driving the tank on Saturday.  That was so much fun.  What an impressive array of military vehicles Mr. Cors has.”

“What I felt was pride, (to be an American) sorrow, (for so many lives lost through the years) sympathy, (for the many families who lost their loved ones) yearning, (for a country that doesn’t need such protection) strength, (because I know I am protected by men and women who are willing to die for me) and gratitude (to all who have come before us and continue to fight and die in the name of duty, honor, country).”
